The latest issue of Publishers Weekly, dated 1/18/99 has a review of the lates Indy novel in the mass market section. Here's what the reviewer had to say:

"The latest Indiana Jones adventure once again requires readers to suspend disbelief and enter a world of twisted danger, black magic and archaelolgical intrigue. This time, the Princeton professor travels through the Orient, India and Egypt, circa 1934, in search of the Omega Book. Long buried under the Sphinx of Giza, it's an invaluable instrument of the occult that allows its owner to rewrite destiny. As usual, a band of villains closely trails Indy and his chums. Full of vivid subplots and ancient lore, the book reads like a rollicking history lesson. In a lengthy afterward, McCoy offers detailed descriptions of three archeological findings heavily featured in the story." This title is due for release in February.

Generally positive, and typically these reviewers aren't terribly excited by series genre fiction, so this bodes well, I think.
