to Mark regarding backpacks

Mark,

I tried to email you in regards to your comments on backpacks but was unable to. I just want to know what your beef is with backpacks. I'm a forestry technician and find them to be an invaluable tool. Not everything fits in a cruising vest, or a mk. VII gas mask bag.
