: Well, to "drop the other shoe", excuse the pun, the doctor was describing the Alden's shoe, but couldn't remember the exact designation. I reached inside my Wested jacket and pulled out the picture and specs of the 405, and innocently asked, "do you mean this shoe?" He immediately said yes. It was better that a "Find your Fate" adventure. I chose the right direction this time. Regards. Michaelson

Michaelson, you are just too cool!!! I love it- sort of casually
take out the Alden spec sheet. It's like "Oh, you mean THESE?"
Well, take the word of a friend: they are extremely comfortable shoes,
and if you need replacement laces, Alden sells them for $3. Just tell
them what color you need. Enjoy!!!
