: : : well i must say however, that martin caiden was the absolute worst indy author i've read yet

: : Ditto! Ever read Indiana Jones and the White Witch? Terrible!

: you know something, funny you mentioned that. i've been reading the entire series of novels in order, and i'm on the white witch now. it's the worst so far. it was written extremely poorly. like they always seem to sit down and start discussing everything thats going on like they know it all. it drives me crazy that they always have these wierd discussions!!

I think McCoy is the best indy author so far, also. I loved Indiana Jones and the Philosopher's Stone, and also Hollow earth (didn't care much for the Dinosaur Eggs, though). MacGregor's books were hit and miss, in my opinion. His last one (Interior world) was terrible. But the two that followed by Caiden were even worse. They were more like Doc savage stories and not indy stories, in that Indy was a jack of all trades and not specifically an archeologist.
