I have heard rumors at Paramount of rereleasing RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK sometime soon with a new THX soundtrack (either with the advent of INDY 4 or RAIDERS 20th Anniversary), but no plans to include either of the sequels in theatrical release. (Apparently, if this RAIDERS rerelease takes place, all films will then be released on laserdisc and VHS with THX sound). Nor will the rerelease feature new special effects, a la STAR WARS.
