I wouldn't want to know. That would mean I knew the actor previously. If they ever decide to do an Indy without Ford (probably without Spielburg and Lucas, too), I'd want an extensive casting search, finding a capable actor, good-looking, rough around the edges, the ability to sound intelligent, and a subtle, yet prominent sense of comedy.

Indy should always come as first billing (Once again, like Bond). If you turn the role into an award for ET's favourite actor of the season, you run the risk of what happened to the Batman franchise. Yuck.

Provided there was a GOOD reason to make a movie without Ford (not simply because he asked for too much cash), it wouldn't matter to me one bit if he looked like Harrison (Hey, River Phoenix had blonde hair, and he worked). It's whether or not the lad is Indy that counts.

And just for the record, I get queasy from the idea. It worked for Bond, yes, but Ian Fleming wrote them all as novels beforehand. Also, look at other cases: Batman, Dracula, Sherlock Holmes... they all originated outside of the silver screen, and thus, they were never associated so strongly with any single actor.
