It could be Biblical, as two of the films have been...but as far as "fallen Empires" go, it could be Greek or Roman for that matter. There have been some great fallen empires in history, Alexander the Great, for instance. Who knows...most likely the title is bullshit anyway. Who knows where these rumors come from.
