: : : : : Hi All,

: : : : : Can anyone help with this question.....

: : : : : What has happened to the children's book series, The Young Indiana Jones? The books seem to have stopped with Number 15 "Eye Of The Tiger" by W. McCay. Does anyone have any information about this series? Thanks.

: : : : Apparently Number 15 was the last. I'm only missing four of the books and continue my search in the oddest places (i.e. Disneyland). I have been able to find many things there for my collection that other bookstores wouldn't normal carry.

: : : You can find some of these past Indy books [and some games!] by checking out the Amazon bookstore at www.amazon.com. Go to search, type in Indiana Jones or Young Indiana Jones and enjoy!

: : : P.S.--Didn't you think that the original Young Indy book series was A LOT better than the TV show and subsequent books?

: : Personaly, I think that you guys should try the 'Indiana Jones Series', not 'Young Indiana Jones'. There's more of a plot to those then Young Indiana Jones.

: If you're referring to the ones by the likes of Max McCoy, Martin Caindin [sp?], and Rob MacGregor, I read most of those, and you're right, they are better. I just think the original Young Indy series was better than the YIJ Chronicles, which came later. But you're right, the Bantam IJ series is best!

Actually there was supposed to be one more in the Young Indy series called YIJ and the Mask of the Madman written by Megan Stine, but Bantam pulled it about two months before it was due to be printed. I believe Amazon has a listing for it in any case, although they say it's out of print.
