: : He's handsome and a rogue. He's tall and rugged. He has the type of smile, that melts a girl's heart. That and he knows what to say. It must run in the family - come on - look what Dad did in Last Crusade.
: I could say he's scruffy-looking, but then I'm getting into a different movie there.

: He's good with a quip (not to be confused with a whip). Also, the man can wear a tuxedo and leather equally well.

: He has his own personal sense of honor and knows how to make the ladies swoon. There are other things I could post here about Mr. Jones, but I do need to keep this post rated PG.

: Okay guys, what are your thoughts, here.

It would be easy enough to say I like Indy because he is cool. I mean, he is
everything cool. Popular with the ladies, a good guy to have at your back in
a fight, smart, funny, etc. A great guy! But while that is why I would like
Indy as a friend if he were real, I think the question is why do I like the IDEA...

Because he is not only one of the good guys, he never quits! I get so sick of
"heroes" who either never make a mistake or never learn from their mistakes.
How often has a Tom Cruise character actually learned that being a hotshot can
get you and your friends screwed? Indy, and James Bond, get their butts kicked,
they get caught, they lose their target, but they never quit. Tenacity, that is the
main thing about Indy I try to emulate. That and his tendency to tell it like it is!
