I heard THIS from a woman that my roommate dates: her older sister used to babysit Harry Ford's kids, and kept in touch with the one who is the chef in LA (I don't know his name). He told her that HE would make an appearance in the new film as - who else - Indy's SON!
YUP! She went on to say that he informed her the appearance would be brief - the movie has the obligatory opening sequence to set up Indy's character again, and that's where the appearance comes in. Apparently it will involve a spoof of the opening from TOD - only now it's all set at the Jones' home! (She said he described it in detail that she didn't, or couldn't tell us; but apparently the son is a character we aren't supposed to REALIZE is Indy's son - and he poisons him at his own house. The audience won't be let off the hook until Indy's daughter Lucy appears and solves the mystery game it turns out they were all playing!!!
CRAZY HUH? That's about all I could get and I damn near choked her for more - but as I was hounding her I notice my roomate getting agitated with me.
