: :That seems to be my problem so does anyone know :of a magazine I could order one out of?

: Check out the Star Wars Insider in the Jawa Trader section.. They Have a nice hat for about 36 dollars...

I remember about five years ago, my parents got me an Indy hat for Christmas. I never did find out where they got it, but I wore it everywhere. Then, I lost it in a Colorado Springs parking lot (sniff).

Fast forward to last month. I'm in Calgary, middle of the Calgary Stampede, which means you can yell "YEEE-HAWW!!!" in a bank and get seven replies, three of those coming from the tellers, following official Stampede policy.

I decide I need a hat, so I can blend in a bit better. I go into a leather store, and check out their wares. I see a nice brown fedora, teardrop crown, it's my size, looks good... but it's not Indy.

I put the hat back when I think...
Yes. But it's a hat Indy would wear. When Indy got his hat, destiny kind of threw it at him. He didn't look under the brim for the label. So I took the hat, pulled out the feathers, and paid for it.

The funny thing is, nowadays it looks more like Indy's hat, because of the abuse I put it through.

And if anyone asks, I still keep the "Official Indiana Jones Merchandise" tag from my first hat in my wallet.

The moral of the story: If you can get an authentic Indy hat, I envy you. If you can't, remind yourself that Indy didn't care what tag his came with, just what it meant to him. And my new Indy hat means a lot to me, making it a purchase I'll never regret.

Hope you found that enlightening.
