: : I have in my collection several 33 1/3 LP records that have, the complete Raiders dialogue, as well as one from the Temple of Doom. These are in mint condition, as are all the recordings I have of the IJ movies. Has anyone ever come across these before, and does anyone have an idea what they may be worth on the collectors market? Regards.

: Actually, neither of these recordings have the COMPLETE dialogue, rather an abridged version with the film's music and sound effects as well. It's not unlike a radio broadcast. I have RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK: THE MOVIE ON CASSETTE (the same as your LP version, with a large booklet with photos in the jacket case). These differ from the "read along" ones geared for children -- those are much shorter, have a narrator, and feature voices by different actors.

: The LP you mention I think is pretty rare nowadays. I guess that if it's in good condition, you could sell it for three to four times its original cost. ($30???) If you hold onto it, however, it should significantly increase in value over the next few years I think.

Thanks for the information. I plan to hold on to it. Most of my collection is still in the original wrappers from 15 years ago. I believe I also have the mentioned 7 in record of T of D, I purchased both when they first came out. Most items I bought I bought in pairs, one to save, and one to listen to. I believe this plan worked, considering what I'm seeing on the market right now considering the action figures. Most interesting. Thanks again. Regards.
