LAST CRUSADE trivia contest WINNERS! (Sadly, it ended early...with good reason.)

Greetings Indy fans...

I'm sure you are all wondering WHY I have ended this contest two days early. And to be honest, I am absolutely devastated that this had to happen before the official deadline this Sunday. It's certainly not fair to those who submitted answers and were hoping to improve on them, and to the other people who were planning on submitting their initial answers at the last minute.

Sadly, it seems as though one brash player out there (wayne.hemrick@telus.com) had, for whatever reason, decided to post all his answers on the forum for everyone to see. I can only assume that this was designed to be some kind of practical joke for the sake of ruining the contest, but it's also possible that he was new to the forum and didn't know exactly how to reply. (Though I felt this was clearly explained to everyone in my posts.)

Obviously, this action severely jeopardizes the legitimacy of the contest. If some players had simply copied his answers to their own, it would prove unjust and unfair to the others who -- after much research and time -- genuinely embarked on working the answers out for themselves. Though I did not hinder players from asking each other questions about some of the trivia amongst themselves, for one to post ALL his answers on the board is certainly not fair play to the others who have done all the hard work.

Therefore, I deeply apologize to all of you. I assure you that this was not expected on my part. I wanted to challenge you all, yes...but fairly. This was a difficult decision to make -- it's unfair to end the contest earlier than promised, but it's even more unfair to cheat out those who worked hard to win it. And because there are exactly FIVE prize-winning scores, I don't feel so bad. After all, there were only five prizes.
