I bought mine for about $12.00...but of course, this was when it was just released in 1982 and RAIDERS figures filled the shelves of Toys R Us...*SIGH* If only I bought extra ones and kept them in their boxes, I'd be a rich man...
As far as the droid hieroglyphics, those are obvious on the toys. But a question: has ANYONE actually SEEN these things in the FILM ITSELF? Yeah, I've seen still photos of it, etc...but I have NOT been able to see it clearly in the movie -- and I've scanned for it in the widescreen laserdisc, as well as film theater revival showings...
