Obviously we all know that Lucasfilm didn't write this. But according to several legit sources, the new film is indeed slated for release on Memorial Day 2000. It will be between the first and second STAR WARS films (currently slated for Memorial Day releases in 1999, 2001, and 2003 respectively).
