: : Can someone tell me if you can still find the Indiana Jones Choose
: : Your Own Adventure books. In Disneyland I saw a couple of reprints
: : with really poor cover art, and one new story. I bought all of
: : the books when I was a kid about 10 years ago. However I lost
: : number 6, (the one with the yellow cover), in which Indy searches
: : for some gold necklace thing. I'd appreciate it if someone could
: : point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I just saw a few of them in my local bookstore. they were in the YOUNG ADULT section. However, they dropped the "Indiana Jones and the..." from the titles and they have new cover art WITHOUT INDIANA JONES!!!

I remember seeing "Cult of the Mummy's Crypt", "Ape Slaves of Howling Island", "Curse of Horror Island", and a couple of others. they were more of the horror oriented ones, and were an obvious attempt to cash in on RL Stine's recent success with the Goosebumps series. The only indication I found of Indy was a small circular picture on the back with his face.

Anyway, I find it rather deceitful, marketing them like they are new books, but if you don't have any of them, pick them up and check them out. They're not bad.
