Yeah, I've been given the impression (reading here and a bundle of other fansites) that McCoy is the best of the three. Still -- that's not saying a lot. I mean -- an alchemists tablet, a triceratops, and time travel? Doesn't seem Indy to me. Spielberg and Lucas were uneasy with Temple of Doom. I wonder how they'd feel about some of these novels. ;-)

I'll give the books a try (only because they're Indy books, hehe) but I'm skeptical.
