Raiders joke. Anyone ever notice this and how long did it take you?

Ever notice when Belloq says, 'Perhaps there's some vital bit of evidence which eludes us', that Sallah and the dig team walk right past Belloq and Deitrich? In fact, Sallah covers his face and walks right in between them. You can see the dig team with the shovels on walking in the backround. I thought this was a joke that got past alot of people because it happens so fast and since Belloq is talking, he is the point of interest in the shot. Most everyone is looking at him and not the backround. This took me till the 10th anniversary screening to notice this and up till then I'd seen Raiders at least 200 times or more. How long did it take you? I love this gag. Sallah and the dig team 'eluding' the nazis right under their noses. Ha Ha!
