It also depends if your school has some kind of dress code. They might not allow you to wear the hat or jacket, so you might wanna check into that.
Also, you might get people staring at you funny. If that kinda thing bothers you, then I'd forget about it. If not, then I say go for it. I woulda loved to have seen someone pull that off when I was in high school.
