: It also depends if your school has some kind of dress code. They might not allow you to wear the hat or jacket, so you might wanna check into that.
: Also, you might get people staring at you funny. If that kinda thing bothers you, then I'd forget about it. If not, then I say go for it. I woulda loved to have seen someone pull that off when I was in high school.

: Good luck!

Sol makes a very good point... some of your fellow students may make
some sarcastic comments about your clothes, especially the fedora and
possibly the bag. While the leather jacket would hardly draw any
attention at all (I doubt if any of the students would know it was
a Wested and what that means... they would just look at it as another
"flight-type" jacket which are quite popular now), the fedora is
certainly *not* a common type of headgear for anyone these days - not
even many adult males wear them (unfortunately) much (although I've
worn a fedora long before Indiana Jones made it famous -- yes, I'm
considerably older than most of the forum members). The bag may or
may not draw attention or comment.

If you don't mind the potential sarcasm, wear the outfit (I'm a
college professor and wear my jacket, bag, and (sometimes) fedora
to the campus nearly everyday). If the comments would upset you
or make you feel bad, save the outfit for after school and weekends.

Regards,
Professor Jones
