That sounds like an interesting story. There is one problem, though. Steven Spielberg has apparently said that he doesn't want "Indy IV" to take place in the WWII era because, after doing movies like "Schindler's List", he feels it wouldn't be right for him to go back to doing Nazi jokes, like "Raiders..." and "Last Crusade" occasionally did, so the next movie will likely be set sometime in the 50's.
