An Indy animated show could follow one adventure over the course of a season with a cliffhanger ending each week to keep viewer interest just like the old serials that Indy is based on.
The "Batman" animation style is very cool but I'd rather see Indy developed in a style of its own. Although the "Batman" style is very thirties-ish and would work well for Indy.
I agree that Harrison Ford would be wasted as the voice of Indy. His salary would break the series and a good imitation would be easy to find and much cheaper.
I can't see any real downside to making an animated Indy weekly series.
