I liked Old Indy! I wish they’d retained the Old Indy material in the Young Indy espisodes/movies. I liked the way Indy had grown into this man, and thought the eye patch restored a bit of the mystery to the character that the show would otherwise have taken.

I really think that this was one of the worse ideas they came out with when creating the original YIJC series in '92, and apparently I was not the only one, as those bookends were eliminated from the series of old Indy with the patch.
