Indy Reference in Red Hot Chili Peppers music video?

Hey dudes, have you guys seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers video for
"Californication"? Probably not, since it's very new and I doubt most of you
Indyfans are into MTV (forgive me if this is not the case).

Anyways, the song AND the music video kick ass!! The video is one of the
best music videos I've ever seen (right up there with "Thriller"). Anyways, the
concept of the video is where all 4 members of the Chili Peppers are inserted
into a video game and they go through lots of video-gamish obstacles all in
similar animation to Infernal Machine, Tomb Raider and all those styles of
gaming (3rd person I believe). One part of the music video features Flea (the
bassist for the band) going on a mine cart!! It seems a lot like they were
giving a reference to ToD and (possibly) Infernal Machine? What do you think
guys? Is that an Indy reference?
