: Just to quote what I said: "Is the same fedora used in every Indy movie?" I just thought of it right now. I remember, in LC, for a split second, when Indy is hanging of the side of the tank and Vogel is hitting him with the shovel, you see a drop of what looks like bird crap on the brim of his hat. I'm not sure, but there is a white drop on the hat in one shot, then it turns back to Vogel, then it goes back to Indy, whose hat is just dirty from dust and rocks. Just and observation I rememberd just right now.

Not sure I understand your post, as to if it's a question or a statement. Anway, no, in reality there were several hats used, and different ones made for each and every movie. You'll see different hats sometimes from shot to shot, because of shooting times and editing, they'll not notice there maybe a noticeable difference between the fedoras. One good example is from Temple of doom in the airplane cockpit. Indy is at the control, pounding on the gas guage. We look at Indy in his battered fedora, then cut to a close up of the guage, then back to Indy, wearing this time a slightly larger brimmed, and definately newer and cleaner fedora. Back and forth to the guage, the when we cut away to behind him where he calls to Short Round to get their stuff, he's wearing the old battered hat again. It happens all through the middle and final movies. You don't really notice it as much in Raiders. Hope this is what you were wanting to know. If not, well, it isn't the first time I've just plain missed! Regards. Michaelson
