Lucas is NOT a master storyteller...

I agree with you mostly, but not on the statement that George Lucas is a "master storyteller". NO WAY. He may be a master producer, and, indeed, a marketing expert - but Star Wars Episode 1, which we wrote and directed on his own, proved that he is NOT a master storyteller because the story and characters were thin, boring and shallow. Writer Leigh Brackett's contribution made the screenplay to the original STAR WARS that great (and the myth teachings of Campbell), and Lawrence Kasdan is the real mastermind behind INDIANA JONES! So stop praising Lucas' storytelling abilities, please. It's simply not true.
