: While I don't have face to face experience with Mr. Swayles, I have to say that this doesn't equate to my experience with him. There must be more to the story. Maybe your contact didn't shown enough respect and Swayles shortchanged the "whipper snapper" by making a hasty cut and responding gruffly to him later. While my edges aren't die-cut sharp, they aren't crooked by any means. And MY bow is just what I asked for as see on the Raiders hat. I described EXACTLY what I wanted it to look like. There's always more to the story than people perceive/care/or want to relate.
: I'd get another HJ in the future. And where does everybody get this $300 figure?

This isn't the first time I've ever heard this either, and it's happened more than once. The way I've heard from folks (and these are folks in terms of face to face dealing with HJ), they definitely seem to take us as being a bit looney in regards to wanting THE Indy fedora, and seem to knock them off as quickly as they can. From the stories I've heard, it really seems to depend on what mood they're in at that particular time. I'm glad yours was dead on, I'm just saying that yours, at the moment, has been the exception rather than the norm. The $300 price has been pretty much what the final cost has been for delivery to the US, once all the shipping and customs costs have been paid. Regards. Michaelson
