YOUNG INDY novelist Rob MacGregor actually wanted to dedicate a novel to this storyline, as an article in CINESCAPE once claimed. However, Lucas and company said they didn't want that area covered at the time.

Later, DARK HORSE COMICS had intended to publish a storyline involving a 28 year old Indy working with Abner Ravenwood on finding the Headpiece to the staff of Ra -- sadly, Dark Horse abandoned the property before this series ever saw the light of day.
