How strange, then, that these "gussets" weren't incorporated into the LC jacket. Seems to fit him just fine in Micah's side by side photo comparison.

: Actually “my smug little friend” one of the reasons Ford was reputed to have hated the Temple jacket was because it was difficult to move in. Watch Ford moving around in the bar scene in RotLA, and see how the bottom of the jacket barely if at all rides up when he moves. Then look at LC and see how high the jacket comes up when father and son raise their hands before the “Don’t call me Jr.!” line. The bottom of the jacket is a good 4 inches above his belt! That’s what happens without gussets.
