right after raiders came out, I saw an interview with Spielberg, and he said that during the test screening, the audience thought that Indy looked too much like he was waterskiing without the ski's since hed did not have his whip. There are photos on the net of the shot being filmed. In the books, comics, etc, he lashes himself to it with the whip. (NM)
