I cut the crown completely off of the brim and raised it to 6" using a stiff, foam extension. I then replaced the ribbon with a 1 3/4" ribbon. I know all the dimensions sound weird but after hours of staring into a mirror with the thing on I feel it looks just right.

Wow, and to think that all the time I've spent staring at myself in front of a mirror wearing nothing, I could've actually been accomplishing something.
