Actually, those are the areas they said the horsehide would really show its stuff. The relative stiffness and weight would cause the pleats to hold their shape longer then they otherwise would. There leather guys did say though "that's going to be one nice jacket, and you'll be able to give it to your grandkids 60 years down the line, but when you get it - it will be as stiff as a board until you break it in."

Yes, I'm VERY eager to hear how you like the A2. Those clearance items they have are fantastic!
