Leather strap buckle on Mk VII

A little while back I was told by someone that the buckle that was on the Indy MK VII bag was a special type of buckle. Well I'm trying to get a leather strap made and was wondering what kind of buckle this Indy buckle was? What was it made of? What is it called? Ect?
