Brody is correct. The original Raiders jacket did have gussets under the arms. Gussets are pleats. They allow the jacket to be form fitting (i.e. not baggy) while also allowing a great amount of movement. The alternative to gusseting a jacket is to drop the armpit. This is cheaper and results in one size fitting more people. This is what is commonly refered to as "oversized" fitting, and "one size fits all" fashion. The jacket in Last Crusade is more oversized, while the Raiders jacket is more form fitting. It takes more skill to do gussets correctly so they function as part of the jacket.
