I'm FAR from an expert (yet), but neither appears to be particularly authentic from my initial research.

It appears right off the bat that original jackets had a single pocket, while modern renditions have a pair of handwarmer pockets which are certainly of more utilitarian value.

But given this crowd's voracious proclivity for authenticity (gussets anyone)... ;-)
