Been there, Done that..Bought a t-shirt....not the hat until 7 yrs later

I see your point...I've been there (although I never went through
with buying a hat..I knew the consiquences (damn..my spelling in the past
few messages has been really bad) weren't 'cool' to High school
standards. I'm ordering one next month (well out of HS by now)
and even though many a folk might look at me a bit odd, I care not.
I live out west anyhow where cowboy hats are frequent, so it won't
be that much of a change.....chicks dig it.....I'll really use it when
I horse back ride, etc. But of course, I'll still have my ARizona State
ballcap to wear as well. The fedora will come out when I'm in the
adventurous mood....Hiking, camping, traveling to Egypt in May, etc.

Uhm..my point is...your not going to wear your hat around friends when
your hanging out at parties and such. At your point in your life
(if you're like me) friends are important..so maybe just wait
until your older and those around you have matured beyond the
"it's gay " stage. Trust me...The hats will always be there.

I'm sure this helps none so I will stop talking now...
