For most people they do seem to run about a half size large and the salesman will tell you to order that way. They do indeed look like the picture on the web page. In my opinion for an outdoor boot they are a bit light for the job, but as a shoe/boot they perform well and are very comfortable. Also I understand you can get a lug sole which you might inquire about as the stock sole is a bit slippery. Flash.
