He is, indeed, a fine fellow, but at times seems a bit fickle in his correspondence. I had two phone calls from him in one night a month or so ago asking my help in straightening out a couple of problems for him, but since that time he has not responsed to several attempts to email or phone. He has not returned ANY attempts to contact made by Patterson in his trying to ORDER a jacket, so I would must add that word of caution. It seems to entirely depend on what mood he's in, and who he is taking care of at the moment. I'm happy he's taken care of IndyDawg so well, but it seems to be a random act, so just bear that in mind, and not take it personally if you experience a long spell of silence when dealing with him. It's feast or famine. Regards. Michaelson

: Peter has been wonderful to me from the start! He can make mistakes. But, so can we all! I have no issues with Peter or Wested that have not been addressed, or at least the offer been extended to address them. For example, Peter admitted to me in a recent email that me getting a jacket I did not order was his mistake because he wrote the order up wrong. He asked me if I wanted to send the jacket I had back and have him do it over, and I said "NO"! I said this because even though I wound up with a jacket I did not order, I am very happy with the jacket I got! It is so soft, broken in, beautifully distressed, the whole thing is awesome!
: So....you have NOTHING to fear from doing business with Peter or Wested! You will be taken care of, and in my experience, Peter will go out of his way to make and keep you happy!
: I can echo the other sentiments here, however, that if you are going to order/communicate/do business with Peter, you better bite the bullet and call him! He is a great guy to talk to, anyway, and you can tell he much prefers doing business as "face to face" as you can get!
: I would order another from him in a heartbeat! No worries!
: Regards!

: : I've got 2 Westeds and never had a problem with Peter Botwright. But I didn't rely on e-mails. It's worth it to call and talk to a person--really worth it. I'm sure he's very busy and some folks just don't consider e-mail their prime method of communication. I'm interested in a new Wested but I think I'll wait a bit. I want to make sure he's worked the bugs out of the ever-gaping pleats. I may try the Flight Suits first, since I don't already have two of them.

: : P.S. Your Caps Lock is stuck.

: : : I ORDERD MY WESTED ON FEB. 16 AND PETER SAID TO ALLOW 4 WEEKS. NOW, LIKE A DUMB ASS I SENT AN INTERNATIONAL MO VIA THE US MAIL WHEN I SHOULD HAVE SENT IT UPS OR FED EX.
: : : I KEEP READING THESE HORROR STORIES FROM YOU GUYS SAYING SO MANY BAD THINGS ABOUT WESTED AND IT IS STARTING TO BRING ME DOWN. ARE THEY REALLY THAT BAD? CUSTOMER SERVICE WISE? I KNOW I CANT GET MUCH OF A RESPONSE FROM PETER ON THE STATUS OF MY ORDER AS HE SEEMS TO NOT ANSWER ANY OF MY E-MAILS. 4 MONTHS FOR SOME OF YOU GUYS? WRONG JACKET?
: : : WHATS UP WITH THAT? CAN YOU GUYS GIVE ME ANY GOOD NEWS? BRING MY HOPES BACK UP?
: : : ANYWAY, I'VE GOT MY LID FROM PETERS BROS. ( THE PATTERSON ) AND I AM SUPER PLEASED WITH IT. JOE DID A HELLUVA JOB AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS WORK!!!
: : : AS FOR MY WESTED, PLEASE LET ME HEAR SOME POSITVE FEEDBACK FROM MY "RAIDERS BROTHERS" OUT THERE. COOL!
