: hey gang,
: Just a question here, how many of you have considered actually
: rounding out your fedora collection to include other colors? Anyone here aside from me wear them with regularity to work or social gatherings? Not just the rusty brown of Indy's fedora, but grey (which Indy also wore) black, tan, etc.?
: You'd be surprised how it finishes a business suit or a casual Fridays ansemble.
: Am I alone in this desire to bring back hat wearing as a standard of fashion?
: Or are we all concerned that while being confused for Indiana Jones at a distance might be fun, being confused with Sam Spade, Dick Tracy and Elliot Ness might be unpleasant?

I guess I should look into acquiring some fedoras in various colors. I could never wear a black one though, I just personally can't stand the way a black hat looks. I could wear a gray one though, and of course various shades of brown and tan. For some reason, the old brown fedoras just look better to me. As far as the contributing factor mentioned below, in regards to the demise of "men wearing hats", I was told by the owner of a local mens store, that JFK was to blame for the demise this fashion. He didn't wear em. Regards, Fedora
