This is certainly great news, but $275 is indeed way out of the realm of reason for a pair of pants. I've squawked at the $175 that W&G wants for something seemingly close, to the point that I refuse to buy them. For the genuine article, or rather a reasonable facsimile thereof, I'd be willing to spend something in the $125 ballpark. But that's about it, I'm afraid.

Incidentally, what's this about corduroy? The material in the film looks nothing like what I think of when I hear the term corduroy...even for the tight wale stuff.

Anyway, keep up the good work, Peter. We're all indebted.
