You deliberately tried to copy a DVD to tape?

Well, I thought it might work to route the DVD player through the VCR. I'm routing my Playstation through both my VCRs and it works just fine.

: Some DVD players are actually 'smart' enought (like a Playstation 2) that know's that it's going through a VCR, and doesn't play through it. This is yet another copy protection scheme, to prevent you from copying DVDs to tape....
