I don't recall if that was the reason for the fallout between Rome and the other Patriarchies. However, while most Bishops of the other Patriarchies continued to believe that Christ had two natures while on Earth (both as God and as human), there were enough bishops that started to believe that Christ was only human (i.e. not God) to cause a rift and which led to the first of the eventual seven Ecumenical Councils - that heresy was stamped out by the end of that first Council.

The Monophysitism that you mention was the cause of the second Ecumenical Council, the heresy of which was stamped out be the end of that council.

The seventh and final Ecumenical Council dealt with, and stamped out, the heresy that the Holy Icons were not at all holy.
