Thanks for the kind words. It is true that by the technique I use, I am just changing the color or the leather. Structurally nothing has been changed or compromised. On the Wested I did use sandpaper, because that was what was supposedly used back on Raiders. Now, I don't need to do that. It can all be done with color. Here is what my goat looks like after removing the shine and lightening the seems and edges with acetone:
