I'm still looking for a good answer as to why, in the scene where Indy began climbing onto the flying wing, immediately after the escape from the Well of the Souls in RAIDERS; apparently to kick the butt of the pilot who was busy at the controls (you with me?), a mechanic in a green shirt, ball cap, and with a monkey wrench in his hand appeared and shouted up to him in German "Hey, kid! What do you think you're doing?!" The pilot didn't hear the shouting. Indy proceeded to deck the mechanic, in some fisticuffs that involved the wrench smacking against the plane and being fed to the props. The fight cued the entrance from stage right of the economy-sized, bald shirtless nazi, yet the pilot of the plane still didn't have clue one what was going on, despite the loud thunks and KWANG!!!! of the wrench.
Indy proceeds to climb the wing again (Beat Snot Out of Pilot, Take II), and at this point, the big bald guy, in a normal tone of voice, calls up to Indy and beckons him down to give him a try.
Well, the pilot heard the giant mechanic, and proceeded to dig around for his pistol.
What happened?
THAT's a question that we should be working on.
