What did Indy find?

I just realized this. At the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indy asks his dad, "What did you find?" Henry replies, "Illumination. What did you find, Junior?" "Junior?! Dad..." You see? He never really answers the question. Did Indy ever find his purpose? Or will this be one of the many questions answered in Indy IV?
