Picture of the MK VII tank on www.british-forces.com

Copy and paste the URL to see the same picture as on IndyGear:

Compare both those pictures to this picture on IndyGear:

Now, what I want to know is: Did everyone go and take a picture of the same tank from the same angle? It's obvious that Photoshop was used (poorly) to alter some of the images. There are trees, then there are no trees in the background. Someone even seems to have tinkered with the shadows. The photo is B&W, then it's suddenly in an ugly green tint (that leads me to believe that there is a sepia version somewhere out there). Not to mention that each version has been cropped differently.
Attempts (especially clumsy ones) to make a picture one's own by butchering an original are just plain pathetic.

I would think that the british-forces.com version is the original one. It's the least cropped and shows the most detail.

Yeah, go right ahead and give credit where credit is due. In fact, as a general rule, every picture should always be accompanied by a copyright notice.
