I have both the Herbert Johnson and the Peters Bros. That doesn't make me an expert, but the Peters Bros. IS a dead ringer, at half the price and wait, and the workmanship is far superior. The brim is stiffer but holds the shape well. My HJ suffers from sloppy workmanship, even though I was able to "fix" some of the problems. I was shocked when I got it and would have returned it for exchange if it hadn't been so inconvenient.

Unless you're hung-up on having the exact brand from the movies, the Peters Bros. is a better hat and a superior value.

Your choice, make yourself happy.

: From the pic's I've seen, we have a dead-ringer at a fraction of the wait, half the price, twice the durability, and better looking bow.

: Could you elaborate on why you see the HJ being the superior choice?

: Cheers!
