... I'm half Ukranian (mother's side) as well as half Russian (father's side), with a bit of Greek thrown in (also on my father's side), even though I was born and raised (and still live in) the U.S.

In any case, most Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians, although many in the western portion of the nation are Roman Catholic due to the proximity to Poland (a predominantly Catholic nation).
