It seems to me that Temple of Doom doesn't fit in the trilogy. Think about it, In Raiders and Crusade, indy goes after a biblical artifact in or near the middle east, much of the action takes place in a desert, and most of the stunts are realistic and believable. Now take a look at Temple of Doom. From the start of the movie until the end, much of it seems more like james bond than Indy in terms of realism.
Such as when Indy falls out of a plane on to a snow covered mountain and slides off a cliff into a river but is okay. also at the end with the minecars and on the cliff. Much of what I like about Indy are his believable stunts and I hope they don't mess up again.
